What will happen to Obama Care with the recent election results in Massachusetts?
  • I’m not so sure I would read this one being that I am not a fun. What do you think the chances are that she will be the Republican candidate for President? I look forward to some more television interviews.

“So, I found myself wanting some more detail about some parts of her life, like what it was like during the campaign (although I got a good idea of why McCain’s campaign failed, and I think he deserved to.) And, I wanted a bit more organization. I wanted the material divided into smaller, more focused chapters with a tighter chronology. And I wanted an index, so I find that exact page where she wrote about holding still-warm moose eyeballs in her hands. “

    • The 2000s saw the popularity of T-shirts with slogans and designs with a strong slant to the humorous and ironic. The trend has increased in this decade; embraced by celebrities, such as Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, and reflected back on them.
  • Reality is merely an illusion. You know, the guy is right. This is another great Einstein shirt.

Hello and Happy Friday to you.
Here I am with another practice in pinpointing all that is great, magnificent, stupendous, you get the idea.  If you are like me you don’t do this often enough.  I spend too much time wanting or saying things like “Won’t it be great when this happens?”.  Maybe it is great right now.

As a teacher I am excited that I am still able to bring energy with me each day to work.  I’m at the critical point of the year where it is easy to feel worn down, and weak, allowing students to display behaviors that would not have been acceptable the first week of school.  Never!!!!

I also survived my evaluation incurring zero significant wounds or battle scars.  I am a little frightened to grade some of my students tests from today, but since I am focusing on the positives, hey they finished them.

I was walking behind a student who was talking about going to therapy with someone else.  They were asked why.  The reply was simply “Because I am %$#ed up.”  Simple and to the point.

Everything Else

  • My heart goes out to Haiti and I wished we paid more attention to countries like that when there isn’t a disaster
  • I have a great weekend of cross country skiing coming up
  • My family rules
  • I weigh less than I did last week
  • Tonight I am allowing myself a sweet, sweet, beer.

Peace Out fellow human beings, educators, and citizens.  Keep fighting the good fight.

Here is a look at Twitter serving a purpose other than a place to ask simple questions or provide updates about trips to the store for a snack. It’s strange how negativity gather so much attention when Haiti is a place that could more love everyday.

    • Once the furor dies down, there will be a few lessons that future politicos can learn from Reid. First, it offends white voters when you suggest their support of a black candidate was determined by his complexion. Second, referring to African-Americans as “Negroes” in the 21st century is an exceedingly bad idea. Finally, for a candidate of any race to be viable in our complicated, diverse nation, that candidate better be multilingual.
